Wine Pick of the Quarter
Because insurance can be dry, each quarter we are going to bring you a wine recommendation from one of our brokers. Some may be just as dry, while others may be sweet. We hope you enjoy. The first Wine Contributor is Matt Little, Senior Vice President of Insurance & Risk Management at McGriff, Seibels & Williams.
With warmer weather approaching, I like to open a refreshing white wine. In my opinion nobody does Chardonnay better than the French. You can never go wrong with a Burgundy and the wines I am currently enjoying come from the Saint-Aubin origin of France. This region produces excellent grapes and the wines are less expensive than your traditional Burgundy wines from the Chassagne-Montrachet region. Interestingly, the Saint-Aubin appellation is considerably young in French standards, officially being created in 1970. The vineyards in Saint-Aubin do not produce any Grand Cru wines, but you can find excellent wines for a great value that are Premier Cru in this region. The Saint-Aubin vineyards are situated in a valley adjacent to Montrachet. Your best finds are the Premier Cru Chardonnays and they deliver a fruity nose without the sweetness you will find in Montrachet wines.

Transportation Pollution Liability
Did you know…? Your contractors might not be adequately insured for their Transportation Pollution Liability? Often overlooked or misunderstood, many contractors assume they can rely on the CA 9948 in their Auto policy to cover their liability for Transportation Pollution. Unfortunately, this leaves many contractors unprotected in the instance of a spill resulting in a pollution incident. Axon offers comprehensive Transportation Pollution Legal Liability protection for an affordable premium. To learn more about Transportation Pollution Liability and its many coverage benefits, please visit our website at www.axonu.com.
